«Every single life is a treasure…»
Setenta y tantos chicos en escena y una historia que exalta el milagro de la vida. Así fue «The Law of the Jungle», el Primary play que subió a escena el pasado fin de semana, en el Auditorio del BDS, de la mano de los alumnos de P6, bajo la dirección de Vicky Rojo y con la dirección musical de Carina Cristina.
Pero hubo mucha más gente involucrada y, sobre todo, un cuidadoso trabajo multidisciplinario por detrás de la puesta, a la vez fresca y deslumbrante. Áreas aparentemente disímiles como IT, Arte o Science y, por supuesto, los dos idiomas del Colegio aunaron esfuerzos y aportaron su creatividad para hacer de esta presentación la coronación de un proyecto integral.
Por otra parte, cómo no destacar el elemento socio-afectivo. ¿No fue una maravilla, acaso, palpar desde la butaca la fuerza transformadora de tanto trabajo de equipo? Especialmente conmovedor resultó que, lejos al menos por un rato de la sobreestimulación mediática y el consumismo voraz, un grupo tan numeroso de «casi púberes» se divirtiera y aprendiera tanto, a partir de un simple y tierno cuento para niños.
Por eso este blog saluda a todos los responsables: a la directora de la Sección (Janet Lenton), las coordinadoras (Marcela y Carolina), a todos los docentes involucrados y a las familias, que una vez más acompañaron la propuesta con entusiasmo y alegría. Y felicita a los chicos, quienes nos confirman una vez más que lo importante en la vida son tan solo las «bear necessities»… y una buena cuota de amor. Well done, P6!

I really enjoyed it, it was real fun and I liked very much the songs and the «coreos». Thank you Cari and Vicky! It was one of my best days and I will never forget it. I am a little bit sad because it has finished but I REALLY liked to do it.
A good play I enjoyed it very much. I was nervous on friday but on Saturday i like it i want to make it again.

The play was excelent,I enjoyed it very much and I had a lot of fun with all my friends and with the teachers
You raised the audience with your jungle rhythm and made us all enjoy it so much. You really thrilled me as a mum and as a teacher!

As your Drama teacher , the most enjoyable thing for me was your energy on stage, your commitment, responsibility and authonomy during all the process. I can say that you reached all the objectives I had in mind for this project, as an activity that enforces your personal development, your social habilities and your expression. You´ll remember this play as your little treasure from Primary School for ever!

I enjoyed so much being on stage!!! I will to do it again!! At the first of the year when you told as the characters y thought that it was going to be frustrated and that we will not have time to do it but now we finished the play i think that it was very funny and we make a very good team work.
