Debate

On Wednesday, 30 October a group of Junior Debaters attended the Argentine Debate prize-giving ceremony. Two BDS students  and an Old Facrectean of 2012 received prizes:

  • Ana Cruz, from M2C, came in 5th in this year’s Junior Fest,
  • Mercedes Mariño, from M3C, was awarded a prize for her perfomance during this debating year,
  • and Nicolás Rainuzzo (Head Boy 2012) received a recognition for his participation in the National Team 2013.

Congratulations to all (and to their coaches!)

Creative Writing

On the following day (Thursday, 31 Oct) six BDS students, Sofía Terán, Agostina Dasso Martorell, Manuel Alcalá, Martina Irarrazábal, Candela Kalaidjian and Mercedes Mariño, whose texts had been preselected for the final of the Concurso de Cuento y Poesía en Castellano e Inglés, organized by Colegio del Arce, attended the prize giving ceremony accompanied by their teachers, María Inés Martínez Asla and Gabriela Correa.

  • Candela Kalaidjian won 1st Prize, for her short story “The Last Train”,
