Oustanding Cambridge Results

Headmaster Steve Page reports on the outstanding results achieved by BDS‘ students at Cambridge International Examinations, in November / December 2013:

“Last year’s results continue to reflect the quality and hard work of our pupils and the dedication of staff.

  • In M1, Cambridge Primary Checkpoint good results in Mathematics, English and Science reflect the sound preparation during the Primary years. Many top grades were achieved while three students obtained the highest grade in the three subjects…well done Franco Panighini, Nicole Camila Kohan and Vera Lucía Rubio.
  • At IGCSE level there were very good results in Combined Science (S4) Computer Studies (S5)and Economics (S5). In ICE Diploma (results from 7 subjects taken over two years) the highest award, DISTINCTION was awarded to Juan Bautista Bardi, Juan Bautista Sosa, Gonzalo Matías Balassanian, Matías Alejandro Martino Garcet, Lucía Souto and Chiara Rodó…congratulations to all. Pablo Manuel Arslanian (S4) achieved A* grades in the six subjects taken…very well done. Many students did very well and we anticipate many distinction results when this group completes its seventh subject at the end of 2014. Well done to all.
  • At the higher, pre university level of A/S and A levels very good results were recorded in Economics, History, Literature in English, Mathematics, Physics and Spanish. Hee Jung Lee and María Belén Mourad Simes were both awarded DISTINCTION in the AICE group certificate and we wish both all the best in their endeavour to study abroad. Agostina Maria Dasso Martorell and María Celeste Mourad Simes were awarded MERIT in their respective AICE Diploma…congratulations. Hee achieved grade A* in Mathematics, A in Physics and Economics while Belén had A’s in Spanish and Economics. Highest grades were achieved in History, Economics, Mathematics, Physics and Spanish. The bachilleres of  2013 did very well and we wish them all the best for their future University studies.”
