ESSARP course: a “Toolkit” for Kinder teachers
“This week, Ro, Lorena, Sole and I attended the first session of the course ‘The Kindergarten Language teacher toolkit for success’ at ESSARP. I have uploaded in General Information (Schoology) the three presentations the trainer Luciana Fernández sent to us, containing a summary of some of the topics she has developed so far.
In this session, Luciana emphasized the importance of using songs in the classroom as one of the most useful tools for teaching English to young learners. She suggested that instead of singing the same routines & transitions songs throughout the year, we should try vary them.
On Tuesday 27th we’ll be attending the second session, more material and ideas to be shared with all teachers later”.
