The rustle of papers, the clicking of pens,
The teacher says “shh”, but it won’t make it end,
The whispers of cheaters, the hums of the thinkers,
An almost dead silence but for tapping fingers,
The tick of the clock, and then the bell rings,
The hubbub of children, talking about things.
