All 7 exchange students from Round Square member schools scheduled to arrive before the Winter break are already among us and enjoying their stay!  Here I am with Sam, from Providence Day School, on the day of his arrival:

The students attended their hosts’ classes during the first few days of their stay and now have their own class schedules. Check Andrea & Julia (respectively, Emma Willard & Fountain Valley School) in an Art class:

With the beginning of the second half of the year, after the end of  the Winter break, Mayte Lezama will be welcoming Jennifer Salako, from The Athenian School (San Francisco Bay, CA).

Dual online Diploma

The Global Education office held its mid-semester in-person meetings with Dual Diploma students (American High School online Program), to discuss their progress so far and, when necessary, to implement strategies for improving their performance. Overall, students new to the Program seem to be adjusting well, while those who have been in the Program for more than a year now are enjoying the opportunity to develop their learning skills and learn new content. They are certainly adopting a more mature approach towards their Dual Diploma studies. Only four weeks are left now until the semester closes, on July 21. The second semester of the Dual Diploma will begin on Monday, July 31.
