Educational Conferences in Chile and in England
Headmaster Steven Page attended the following Conference held in Santiago de Chile on Saturday, 12 April: Education 3.0. Opportunities, Challenges and Pathways. Innovating for Quality Learning.

- How to help students to ask the questions which will support their learning.
- Help shape and deliver meaningful learning opportunities in the classroom.
- Help pupils create and share their own growing understanding of knowledge.
- Settings for learning: allowing for small and large groupings of pupils.
- Pacing of learning: enabling pupils to learn at different rates.
- Styles for learning: ranging from direct instruction to enquiry based activities.
- Technologies for learning: message groups, wikis, videos, virtual platforms.
- Ways of thinking supporting and encouraging creativity, critical thinking and decision making.
- Ways of working developing communication and collaboration.
- Tools for working including information technology and information literacy.
- Skills for living taking personal and social responsibility and making life and career choices.
Likewise, in late May Mr. Page will travel to the UK, where he will participate in the Oustanding Teaching Conference 2014, organized by Osiris Educational.
